Santa Came to Pop's House!!!!

Christmas Eve was spent at my dad's house. This has always been a tradition since my sister and I were younger. Santa came to "Pop's House!" Dylan got a Nintendo DS (still a hit to this day) and Maddie got a cool new pink kitchen. It was a great night with family. Ho Ho Ho!!!

Christmas at Aunt Patsy's House

Dylan and I went to Aunt Patsy's house to celebrate Christmas with my dad's side of the family. Dylan got to see his cousin's and he played hard! I got to visit with my cousins and grandfather who I wish I saw more often. A day of wonderful family time!!

Dylan's Early Birthday Present....Daughtry Tickets!!

For Dylan's upcoming 7th birthday, I scored two tickets to see Chris Daughtry perform at Verizon Arena on December 18, 2009!! We were both so excited! Dylan and I had been a fan since Chris Daughtry was on American Idol when Dylan was 3. It was a great night of fun and great music! The concert was pretty late though, and I had to wake Dylan up when he fell asleep on the 3rd song that Daughtry sang. But Dylan held on until the last song at 11pm. WE HEART DAUGHTRY!!!

Turkey Day!!!!!

Thanksgiving Day.....a day for good food and good times with our family. After lunch, Dylan and Maddie had a great time rolling down the hill in my grandfather's front yard. Dylan has no fears, and Maddie was following right behind him! They are so sweet together! I am so lucky to have a wonderful little boy and a wonderful niece. Not to mention the rest of my family. I am truly blessed!

Our Annual Pumpkin Patch Adventure

We went to the Pumpkin Patch in Mayflower for our 4th year in a row. We always have so much fun there. We went with Aunt Becca, Uncle Wade, and Maddie. Dylan played on the playground, and he and Maddie had alot of fun in the hay tunnels and at the Petting Zoo. We weren't able to go on the hayride this year because it was very muddy, so we just picked a nice pumpkin from the field that had already been brought in. Can't wait to go back next year!

Scary Clowns!!! OH MY!!!!

I took Dylan to Magic Screams for the 2nd year in a row. We met his buddy Kaden there so they could experience the fun together. We had a blast! Dylan even got me to take a picture by a clown. I hate clowns. They are weird and spook me out! Dylan is fully aware of this and thought it would be funny to see my frightened face, while he and Kaden laughed! :)

Fall Ball??? Not so much.

So, Dylan played "Fall Ball" for the first time this fall. I didn't even know that they offered it. He has played T-ball for 2 years during springtime. But, this "fall ball" deal didn't pan out to be much. Most of the games and practices got rained out, and Dylan ended up being on a team with mostly 4 and 5 year olds. (and even two 3 year olds) Needless to say, he was glad that was over with and he could look forward to the Pitching Machine in the spring. Moving on up!!
